Eleventh Blog Prompt

With all the craziness that has been going on in this world today music has definitely kept me sane and to escape the reality of the issues that are happening lately. With that being said the top ten songs that I would have on my pandemic playlist would be: Whitney Houston- Greatest Love of All and
I chose this song because I love Whitney Houston and her voice is unique and wonderful. This song has a meaning that the children are our future so teach and lead them the way to be on a good path.
The second song that I chose is Mariah Carey- Don't Forget About Us and I chose this song because I love her voice and it's a nice song to sing to someone who you are trying to get back together with. My cousins and I listen to this song every time we get in the car because this is our jam. The third song that I like is Sada Baby- Aktivated and I chose this song because it always get me hype and in the mood to dance with my friends and family. Also, this song was a dedication to someone who had passed away so I thought that it was nice to celebrate the person life in a song in which he will never be forgotten. The fourth song that I chose is Rihanna- Kiss it Better because I like the lyrics and tone of her voice. This is my mom favorite song and that is why I listen to it so much because she is always listening to it. Rihanna is a great artist and I love all of her songs. The fifth song that I chose is Lil Wayne- I Do It (feat. Big Sean & Lil Baby) This song was just released recently and I love it because I like all of the three artists and the different rapping styles that made them create the song. This is a song that I would listen to at a party or something that I know that I would shake my head to. The sixth song that I chose is Chris Brown- Yo (Excuse Me Miss). This song is such a great classic and it will never get old to me no matter how many years ago it was released. I enjoy watching the video too because I like how Chris Brown was dancing. The song has a cute meaning because he sees a girl and he approaches her with his beautiful singing and dance moves. The seventh song that I chose is Drake- Make Me Proud (feat. Nicki Minaj). I chose this song because I use to always listen to it in high school and I heard it everywhere. I love the collaboration between these two artists because they did an awesome job on creating this song. The eighth song that I chose is Jill Scott- A Long Walk and I chose this song because I love Jill Scott music and I love her movies. I listen to this song when I'm in a relaxing mood. The song meaning is about her taking a long walk with a man without technology and just have conversation and be in the presence of each other. I enjoy listening to the lyrics and the tune and melody of the song. Jill Scott is a powerful woman and I enjoy listening to her beautiful music because she is a very creative artist.  The ninth song that I chose is Jagged Edge- Good Luck Charm. This song is a sweet song and it expresses love and feelings. The meaning is how a man should treat their woman and he expresses how much love he has for his woman. The tenth song that I chose is Bobby Brown- Every Little Step and I chose this song because he is a great artist and creator and he can make good music. This song is such a good classic to listen to when you want to dance and have fun with your family. I enjoy listening to Bobby Brown music because he can really sing and I like the lyrics. He's talking about how he was shocked about how a girl was interested in him and he wanted to be with her. Also, I like the video because I like his dance choreography and I like seeing him when he was younger. The song always put me in a great mood. These are my top ten songs that would be on my pandemic playlist.

The fairy tale that I am going to write about is Little Red Riding Hood. The story was that one beautiful day Little Red Riding Hood was sent by her mother to take some goodies to her grandmother. Before Little Red Riding Hood left her mother told her not to talk to strangers and don't get distracted by anything. While walking Little Red Riding Hood seen some beautiful flowers so she began to pick them without paying attention to her surroundings. After watching the short film it began with a woman and man inside an elevator and she turns on her music on her phone and so does the man, and they keep turning up their volume to hear their music louder than one another. Other people began to enter the elevator and they play their music and they all try to have their music louder than each other. In the end, another man enters the elevator and he has a big boombox so everyone turns their music off because they assume that his music will obviously be much louder. Everyone turns their music off because they all know that they won't overpower the man with the boombox.
